Age Group :  3 to 5 years old

Learning strategies in the school develop connections of the traditional subjects with the real world, lying emphasis on knowledge, concepts, attitudes, skills and action for future. The school assesses a child through Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation Pattern.

Pedagogical methods employed by well trained and qualified teachers are cognizant of the students’ psycho – motor and gross motor skills and activities are designed to inspire and engage these faculties. In addition, art and music aim to develop creative experiences. The Early Childhood Education revolves around the child’s need to assimilate the known, navigate and absorb the unknown – both leading to a core understanding of concepts. The Initial Years of Pre-primary Unit is centered on the following objectives:

  • To provide our students with opportunities to develop in the 5 domains of development, that is:
Cognitive Development
Cognitive skill development in children involves the progressive building of learning skills, such as attention, memory thinking.
The crucial skills enable our children to process sensory information and eventually learn to analyse, remember, evaluate, make comparison and understand cause and effect.
Physical
It includes mastering movement, balance and fine and gross motor skills.
Social & Emotional

Children’s emotional well-being during their early age has a powerful impact on their social relationship. We prepare children emotionally to establish and maintain positive relationship with adult and peers. Children are provided to learn, to talk about their feelings and the feelings of others. Social emotional development however, involves more than just expressing emotions. It entails taking turns, becoming more independent, engaging in meaningful relationships and developing a positive self-image. These skills are essential for children’s successful participation in our school experiences and for their overall development.
Language
During early childhood your child goes from speaking in short sentences to speaking in sentences of more than five words. The child talks about experiences, shares personal information and understands positional concepts.
Creative & aesthetic Development
To develop the creative and aesthetic side of a child, ample amounts of encouragements are given from the teachers in all activities laid out such as dramatic play, dance, puppetry, music and arts. They stimulate and help children cultivate their abilities in every domain.

We provide practice and right training to explore each of the 5 domains for early childhood.
