Our institution is currently setting up its own organic garden where no pesticides or chemical fertilizers will be used.
In 2017, we started an annual ‘Tree planting campaign’ in Rodrigues and in 2018 we are aiming to complete the planting of some 300 trees around the island. We will make this an annual event.
The event started with visits at various agricultural and plant farms in Mauritius and Rodrigues islands such as Domaine de Labourdonnais, Pamplemousses Garden and more to set the pupils into the campaign
